BEFORE USING :

CAUTIONS :

THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE drowsiness or dizziness. If dizziness occurs, sit up or stand slowly. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. THIS MEDICINE WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS of alcohol and other depressants. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS :

SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, or headache. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience rash or itching. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

USES : Soma relaxes muscles and relieves pain and discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries. Muscle relaxers like Soma are for specific muscle injury and pain and should not be used for general body aches and pains.

HOW TO USE : Soma may be taken with food or immediately after meals to prevent stomach upset. Take Soma as directed. Do not increase your dose of Soma or take it more often than prescribed. •  Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding if you plan to use Soma. If you become pregnant while taking Soma, call your doctor.

•  You should know that Soma may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how Soma affects you.

•  Remember that alcohol can add to the drowsiness caused by Soma.

DIETARY INSTRUCTIONS:
Soma may cause an upset stomach. Take Soma with food or milk.

SIDE EFFECTS : Soma may cause stomach upset, heartburn, headache, dizziness or drowsiness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Inform your doctor promptly if you develop: persistent stomach pain, rapid heart rate. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to Soma, seek immediate medical attention.
